THE INTERIOR OVERVIEW
Although South Sudan, the Central African Republic, Benin & Chad are some of the lesser-known nations in the world, the very fact that they are so undiscovered is what makes it likely to attract the first intrepid visitors here. These countries have staggering rare natural beauty and some of the world’s most amazing wildlife (from mountain gorillas to forest elephant), as well as incredible cultural heritage (Benin is the birthplace of voodoo and a pivotal platform of the slave trade for nearly three centuries). The Interior has always been somewhere that travellers wave goodbye to their comfort zone and say hello to adventure. Put simply, they are countries and experiences that visitors will never forget.
